Dr. Ashima Agrawal is an Assistant Professor at Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, specializing in Marketing and Business Communication. She has over four years of academic research experience and one year of teaching experience, complemented by corporate exposure at Deloitte. Her teaching interests include Marketing Management, Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, and Business Communication.
She recently co-authored the book Actions for Happiness in Academia, which explores evidence-based strategies to integrate well-being and emotional intelligence within educational ecosystems. Dr. Agrawal has also contributed to several edited volumes published by Bloomsbury and Taylor & Francis and has presented papers at premier institutions such as IIM Indore and IIM Ranchi. Her research focuses on Meme Marketing, Social Media Engagement, and Content-Based Branding. Her papers, Memes Matter: Effect of Meme Content Dimensions on Brand Continuance Intention and How to Cook a Meme: Exploring Content Strategies in Brand and User-Generated Memes on Instagram, have been published in high-impact ABDC and Scopus-indexed journals, including the Journal of Promotion Management and Cogent Business and Management.
As a conference coordinator at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur, she has successfully managed three international conferences and hosted eminent speakers, including Fortune India’s Most Powerful Women 2022 awardee Devina Mehra and Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree Viraj Mithani. Dr. Agrawal’s academic and professional journey reflects her passion for integrating creativity, research, and happiness into higher education.
