Aishwarya Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. She has previously worked with the Directorate of Economics and Statistics, Government of Rajasthan, where she contributed to data analysis and research on key economic indicators of the state. Her areas of academic interest include Development Economics, International Trade, Industrial Growth, and Human Development. She has worked on several research-based projects such as comparative studies between the Indian and Chinese economies, analysis of the Asian Tigers, examination of GDP growth trends (1980–2022), and sectoral studies focusing on agriculture and industry in Rajasthan. Her work has also involved analysis of agricultural expenditure trends, interpretation of regression models in the agriculture sector, and data compilation for Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) reporting, particularly Goal 17 for Rajasthan. Ms. Aishwarya Sharma’s teaching philosophy emphasizes conceptual clarity, analytical rigor, and application-oriented learning. She is dedicated to fostering an environment that encourages students to explore economic concepts through empirical evidence and real-world contexts.
