BIO

I Girish Badgujar, currently working as an Assistant Professor in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics at Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, and also as a Forensic Junior Analyst at VCheck Global, Pune. I have completed my MSc in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics from Gujarat University and hold certifications in Digital Forensics, Malware Analysis, DFIR, and Cybercrime Investigations. I have practical experience from working at SIFS India and Heritage Cyber World, where I dealt with real- time forensic cases involving mobile forensics, computer forensics, cloud forensics, email forensics, phishing investigation, RAM analysis, and malware traffic analysis. I have also worked hands-on with tools like UFED, Oxygen Forensics, MobileEdit, Autopsy, and forensic RAM dump utilities. Additionally, I have developed a Browser History Analysis Tool as part of my research, which extracts browsing history, deleted artifacts, cache, cookies, and login credentials to assist in digital investigations.

Alongside professional practice, deliver training sessions for law enforcement agencies, focusing on handling digital evidence, analyzing cybercrime cases, and using forensic tools effectively. These sessions have been impactful in improving investigation methods and equipping officers with practical cyber- forensic knowledge. It will be an honor to conduct a lecture session for your police team and contribute my expertise to support their cybercrime investigation capabilities.

  • DFIR Certified Examiner (Digital Forensic and Incident Responds) – EC Council India. Forensic Junior Analyst – VCheck Global LLC, Pune Worked on real-time digital investigations, background checks, data verification, and cyber forensic assessments.
  • Digital Forensics & Incident Response Intern – Heritage Cyber World Hands-on experience with live incident response, RAM dump collection, disk imaging, phishing email analysis, cloud forensics, network traffic analysis, malware traffic identification, and DFIR operations.
  • Digital Forensic Intern – SIFS India Worked on real-time forensic cases including mobile forensics, computer forensics, video/audio verification, facial reconstruction for victim identification, and forensic artifact extraction using tools like UFED, Oxygen Forensic, and MobileEdit.
